Who We're Looking For:
Fintel Connect is seeking a driven and strategic Director of Operations to help propel our rapid growth. In this pivotal role, you’ll streamline processes, optimize resources, and foster collaboration across teams to meet dynamic business needs. Your expertise in managing client relationships and service departments—especially within agency settings—will ensure exceptional service delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, solve complex challenges, and grow into a key leadership position within our organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Regularly assess and improve operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization across departments to ensure smooth and scalable operations.
- Oversee department deliverables and deadlines, driving accountability through transparent reporting, clear timelines, and regular check-ins with key stakeholders.
- Manage department KPIs and metrics, establishing benchmarks for performance and driving continuous improvements to meet organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with business units to update and streamline operating structures, fostering a culture of operational efficiency, innovation, and high performance.
- Gain in-depth understanding of Fintel Connect's core operations by supporting key business units and continuously develop knowledge to better align operations with company goals and strategic growth.
- Establish, document, and enforce best practices and standardized procedures, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance across all operational functions.
- Introduce and implement automation tools or software solutions that streamline repetitive tasks, enhance productivity, and reduce human error, driving efficiency across teams.
- Support and mentor department heads and managers across operational functions, including recruitment, staffing, and performance management, to develop talent, build high-performing teams, and ensure quality execution.
- Enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration, fostering strong relationships between departments to improve problem-solving and accelerate decision-making.
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives, identifying opportunities for resource optimization, cost reduction, and improved budget management while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Lead change management efforts, helping teams adapt to new processes, tools, and strategies while ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Monitor and assess industry trends and operational best practices, recommending and implementing innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition and maintain operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, ongoing learning, and adaptation to ensure that Fintel Connect remains agile and responsive to evolving business needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in operations or logistics
- Agency experience across various marketing channels including media, email, social, web, content is preferred
- Understanding and experience working with marketing platforms, reporting tools and analytics
- Proven experience managing teams of 5+ staff
- Proven experience implementing strategic initiatives companywide (to at least 60+ staff members).
- Preferred experience is working with a fast-growing company
- Proven experience managing different stakeholders, competing agendas and goals, to come to an outcome that benefits the company
