What you’ll do: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Financial Administrator to support and enhance Customers Bank’s financial systems, primarily focusing on the Workday Financial Application. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday Financials, with working knowledge of both Workday Adaptive Planning and Accounting Center. A solid understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize the Workday Financials Application to support evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure effective use of Workday Adaptive Planning and Workday Accounting Center.
- Monitor system performance, perform data analysis, and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions.
- Support integrations between Workday Financials and other enterprise systems.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of Workday updates and new features.
- Train end-users and provide on-going support and documentation for Workday Financial Applications.
- Participate in audits, compliance efforts, and system security reviews.
- Continuously evaluate system processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Maintain Workday skills competencies through Workday Learning.
What do you need?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Workday Financial Configurator or experience working with:
- Account Posting Rules
- Account Sets
- Custom Organizations and Worktags
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Minimum 1 year experience with Workday Adaptive Insight
- Workday Report Writing skills helpful.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Workday Business Process Design skills helpful
- Workday Accounting Center Experience helpful
- Banking or Financial Services experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools preferred.
- Familiarity with change management and system upgrade processes preferred.
- Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes preferred.
