What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in Cisco switching, routing, and wireless technologies; Palo Alto firewall administration; and Azure networking. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated success in IT change management and managing a team of network professionals to ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services. Able to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.

  • Oversee the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networks.
  • Directly manage a team of network engineers.
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
  • Manage enterprise-grade Cisco networking equipment including switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure Azure networking architectures including VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and network security groups.
  • Lead Palo Alto firewall administration including configuration, policy management, and threat analysis.
  • Monitor and manage VPN tunnels, remote access, and site-to-site connections.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Deskside Support, Server Administration, and Information Security teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI, etc.).
  • Ensure proper documentation of network configurations, changes, incident reports, and asset inventories.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for network-related issues and escalate as needed.
  • Participate in IT change management processes.
  • Follow ITIL best practices in service management (incident, problem, and change management).

What do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in IT change management processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams.

Technology Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco networking technologies (switching, routing, wireless)
    • Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama management
    • Azure networking (including hybrid connectivity solutions)
  • Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and experience in IT service management environments.
  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is a plus.
