WHAT YOU’LL DO AT COASTAL

You’ll sell a full range of banking services and products to individual customers and small business’ with an emphasis on meeting customer needs, providing exceptional customer service and actively soliciting new customers. Interview consumer loan customers, process consumer loans, provide sales leadership to staff, and participate in branch outside business development efforts. May also sell business products of a more complex nature, i.e. cash management accounts.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

  • Provide customer service in accordance with Coastal’s Core Values
  • Interview and assess customer and non-customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Conduct phone follow up and actively raise customer awareness of bank products and services
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking and following up on customer needs
  • Provide customer referrals to Commercial and Consumer Lending, Cash Management and Real Estate Lending.
  • Provide resolution and follow through on customer issues and concerns
  • Complete account documentation according to bank guidelines
  • Maintain current knowledge of banking rules and regulations
  • Represent Coastal in a positive and professional manner
  • Follow and comply with all regulatory and compliance regulations
Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

QUALIFICATIONS

· General understanding of the digital payment processing environment.

· Excellent analytic skills

· Required to handle multiple tasks at the same time

· Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure timely and effective communication

· Strong research skills involving customer and transactions using core system, BSA software, social media, and internet

· Prior experience with personal computers and Windows based software and excel spreadsheets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; OR three to five years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
