About Blooma

Blooma is a commercial real estate (CRE) lending and underwriting platform. We help lenders move faster by pulling data out of rent rolls, operating statements, and appraisals so their underwriters can focus on decisions instead of data entry. A big part of that speed comes from our parsing pipeline, a mix of automation and a team of human parsers who make sure the data is right.

The Role

We're hiring a Parsing Operations Team Lead to run the day-to-day of our parsing operation. You'll be the point person for our offshore parsing team (managed through an offshore parsing partner), making sure their work, both document parsing and Blooma platform QA during deployments, is flowing, high quality, and unblocked.

This is a good fit for someone early in their career who's organized, communicative, and comfortable working with a distributed team. You don't need a technical background. You need to be sharp, reliable, and good at keeping things on track.

What You'll Do

• Own day-to-day throughput and quality of the offshore parsing team's work, across both document parsing and Blooma platform QA during deployments
• Handle escalations from the parsing team by unblocking questions, clarifying requirements, and looping in Blooma engineering or product when needed
• Coordinate with the US team (product, engineering, customer success) so priorities and blockers stay visible
• Support training and continuous improvement of the parsing team on new document types, tricky edge cases, and evolving requirements
• Lead the parsing team on one-off projects the company sends their way
• Pitch in on product operations side projects as they come up. Good exposure if you want to grow into product or ops

What We're Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication. You'll spend a lot of your day in Slack, email, and video calls with people in different time zones
• Organized and self-directed. This role has real independence and we need someone who can prioritize their own day
• Comfortable working with an international team. Cultural awareness, patience, and clear communication matter
• Detail-oriented. A lot of the value here is catching the small things that are off
• Bias toward figuring things out. You'll learn our platform, our documents, and our workflows on the job

We don't require a specific degree or background. Recent grads and career-changers are welcome to apply.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in operations, data analysis, QA, or offshore team coordination
• Familiarity with Jira, Slack, or AI tools like Claude
• Any exposure to commercial real estate, lending, or finance
